Hey hey, I'm Dr. Jeff. I help you bring  your best self to the world by living
curious, intentional, and simple.

But this is not a one-size-fits-all "get everything you ever wanted" type of approach. This is a curated collection of how abouts. Through years of study along with personal and professional experience, I have come to believe there are an infinite number of paths to take to live the life that aligns with your values and allows you to bring your best self to the world. It is up to you to consciously choose and act on what is right for you.

This process can seem like a daunting undertaking filled with fear, worry, anxiety and uncertainty which causes many people to get stuck. Instead of being curious, they stick to only what is already known. Instead of making intentional decisions, they just react and do what has always been done or what they have always been told they should. Instead of living simple so they can focus on what really matters to them, they continue to complicate and add busyness to keep up with "the Joneses"whoever they are. I know this well because it used to be me.

Here's my story...

Aside from losing my Dad to cancer at age four, I had a typical suburban upbringing near Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was the classic overachiever who followed all the rules and checked the boxes, got the grades, went to college (three times actually: Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training, Doctorate of Chiropractic, and Masters of Science in Nutrition and Functional Medicine), got married to an incredibly kind, smart, and beautiful woman, got a "good job" (multiple times), and bought/collected all the things. I did just about everything I was "supposed to do" but was completely miserable by my mid-twenties and experienced a quarter-life crisis. My life was absolutely perfect on paper, except I was living someone else's dream.

So, long story very short, over the next six years I recovered from my crisis by discovering what I truly value and actually wanted for my life by getting curious, being intentional and simplifying everything. And now I speak, teach, and write about how other people can follow a similar process and start living a life that matches who they really are and what they value instead of living someone else's dream. This allows people to bring the best version of themselves to their work, relationships, and life which can ultimately change the world for the better.

Because life does not have to be miserable. There is another way—actually, there are many other ways—and I can help you find yours.
